Drip Integration

There are 2 methods to setup to sync Drip and Personify.

1) Import current Drip subscribers into personify

2) Update Contacts in real time as actions take place

This means you can start using Personify with your current Drip subscribers right away.

Before we setup both these methods we need to Integrate with the Drip API.

So let’s get started there…

Setting up the API Key…

First click the Personify menu link inside your wordpress admin dashboard.

Next you need to select settings and click on the active campaign toggle as shown in the picture below:

1: Next you can click the toggle on the right side to make this your default Integration.

2: Now you need to enter your Account URL.

3: and your API Token from Drip.

4: Click Save settings.

To find your API Token and User ID, login to your Drip account.

Click the three dots”…”, then “account” as shown below.

Next Scroll down to find your Account ID.

Next we need your API Token, click on “user settings”.

You will then see your API token appear at the bottom of the page (scroll down).

Copy & Paste your Account ID & API Token into Personify As shown in the images above.

Make sure you Click “SAVE SETTINGS” .

Okay, Now we can move on to the first method.

Import current Drip contacts

Depending on How big your list is this may take some time, so, It’s important you don’t leave the page till it’s complete.

Click the “Sync Contacts from Drip” Button

Wait for it to complete, you will know when it completes as it shows a success message.

Next Click the “Sync Tags from drip” Button

Wait for it to complete.

Now you have imported all your Drip users into Personify It’s time to move on to the second method.

Update Contacts in REAL TIME

This is very important as it allows Drip to tell us when a change is made at their end. So if a tag is added via a third party service like a shopping cart or a custom field is updated personify will know and update the contact.

To do this we will use webhooks.

Copy and paste the “WebHook URL” from personify.

We need to paste this into Drip.

Head back to Drip.

Go to Settings > Webhooks

Click the “+ New Webhookbutton.

Paste in the URL you got from Personify into the webhook URL field.

Now you want to select the types of hooks you want to send to personify using the trigger event checkboxes.

Just check the checkbox next to:

1: Applied a tag
2: Became a lead
3: Became a non-prospect
4: Removed a tag
5: Subscriber created
6: Updated a custom field
7: Updated an alias
8: Updated email address
9: Visited a page

Finally, Click the “Create Webhook” button.

You are done, You will be taken back to the main webhook page.

From here you can see the webhook you created.

You can also check it is enabled

and make adjustments if needed by clicking the edit button.
